Job Description
Plan, organize, control, and supervise clinical activities in the hospital pharmacy according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and State and Federal laws. Recommends innovation in the practice and function of the hospital pharmacy to the Director of Pharmacy and carries out mutually agreed upon programs.
Requirements
- Minimum five years clinical pharmacy experience
- Minimum two years experiences as a staff pharmacist or residency in an ASHP accredited program
- Minimum one-year experiences as a supervisory pharmacist involved with program development
- Completed/Completing a PGY2 ASHP-accredited residency, and Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Board certification
- Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (BS or PharmD degree required)
- Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the Board of Pharmacy of the state in which they will be working
