Medical Laboratory Technician or Scientist

Perform medical laboratory tests, interpret results, and participate in quality assurance and control monitoring. Requires certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Scientist and a degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.

Requirements

• Graduate of an associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent
• Meets Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) guidelines for the complexity of laboratory testing
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Scientist American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
• Current license or provisional license through the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice
