The Operations Senior Manager leads assigned clinical areas to ensure optimal patient access, clinical quality, and financial outcomes. Provides leadership to assigned colleagues, monitors engagement, recruitment and retention best practices, and initiatives.
Requirements
- Manages fill rates, physician and advance practice provider schedules and templates daily
- Ensures standard work is implemented to achieve quality metrics
- Provides coaching, feedback and ensures development conversations are completed for all members of the team
- Serves as escalation point for patient access to care
- Participates in PDSA's and other improvement activities
- Provides leadership for PDSA’s or system improvements as needed
- Delegates work to assigned supervisors if appropriate
- Monitors daily clinic volumes and flexes staffing to meet staffing efficiency objectives
- Makes recommendations for long-range financial planning, program development and capital planning process to operational leadership
- Mentors new operations managers
- Implements actions to positively impact key revenue and expense drivers assigned areas to achieve margin targets
