Job Description
Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a motivated and skilled Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves managing critical water and wastewater projects, frequent travel throughout the state, and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 5+ years of design experience with a focus on water and wastewater projects
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification, or the ability to obtain it within 12 months of hire
- Pennsylvania driver's license and ability to operate Company vehicle
- Proficiency in CAD software, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
