Utility Technician

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a Utility Technician to perform semi-skilled installation, maintenance and repair of valves, meters, gauges, pumps, and associated equipment used in water distribution systems or wastewater collection systems. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, and no previous experience is required although mechanical and/or electrical experience is preferred.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
