Job Description
Triangle Visions Optometry is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support the daily administration of doctors, visitors, and patients. The role requires excellent customer service skills, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of office experience in a healthcare setting and a high school degree or equivalent.
Requirements
- Greet patients without delay
- Promptly answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner
- Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments
- Maintain business office inventory and equipment
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
- Determine medical and vision insurance eligibility
- Ensure all office systems are maintained
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Adhere to attendance and daily time keeping requirements
