Power Mechanic Level B

Responsible for repairs and preventive maintenance of diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts, inspecting, troubleshooting, and diagnosing equipment, and performing safety inspections.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED)
• 1+ years of experience or completion of trade school
• CDL and acceptable MVR required if driving on public roads
• Must be 17+ years of age
• Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment
• Must have own tools
• Must know general repairs and PM criteria
• Must have specific knowledge of heavy truck repairs in a commercial environment
• Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs.
