Power Mechanic Level C

Estes is hiring a Power Mechanic Level C to perform repairs and preventive maintenance of diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of experience, and the ability to use hand tools and test equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED)
• Minimum of one year experience and/or completion of trade school
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment
• Own tools
• Knowledge of general repairs and PM criteria
• Specific knowledge of heavy truck repairs in a commercial environment
• Ability to keep up with changing technology and updates
• Mechanical ability and interest in engines, electronics, and precision equipment
• Strength and stamina to work with heavy equipment and in awkward positions
