Trailer Mechanic Level C

Estes is hiring a Trailer Mechanic Level C in Normal, IL. The job involves repairs and preventive maintenance of trailers, inspecting and troubleshooting equipment, and preparing safety documents. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1 year of experience, and the ability to lift 70 lbs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 1 year experience and/or completion of trade school
• Valid CDL and acceptable MVR if driving on public roads
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration if CDL holder
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment
• Own tools
• General repairs and PM criteria knowledge
• Mechanical ability and interest in electronics and precision equipment
• Strength and stamina to work with heavy equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Self-starting and organized
• Strong work ethic and good problem solving skills
• Flexibility to work any shift, including nights and weekends in any weather condition
