Job Description
Estes Rockets is looking for an Engine Machine Operator to run engine machines that make model rocket motors/engines. Responsibilities include setting up and loading machines, inspecting engines, and following safety procedures.
Requirements
- Set up and load machine with assigned engine type
- Inspect engines being produced
- Fill out labels for engine type and daily production paperwork
- Wear protective equipment
- Follow all safety procedures
- Assist in unloading black powder and delay powder shipments
- Communicate any problems to engine manufacturing supervisor or engine manufacturing lead operator
- Test model rocket engines
- Adjust on powder measures
- Keep machine and work area clean
