Commercial Chiller and Boiler HVAC Technician

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on commercial chillers and boilers, ensuring energy efficiency and reliability, while adhering to environmental regulations and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Inspect chillers and ancillary equipment using testing instruments.
• Maintenance & Repair: Perform complex preventative maintenance and repairs, including tube brushing, refrigerant leak testing, oil analysis, and compressor teardowns/rebuilds.
• System Optimization: Adjust controls and calibrate Building Automation Systems (BAS) to maximize energy efficiency and reliability.
• Compliance: Handle refrigerants strictly in accordance with environmental regulations (requires EPA certification).
• Good communication skills to educate customers effectively in regards to the explanation of repairs, charges and/or other available products/services.
• Work closely with the dispatcher and other team members in a professional and efficient manner.
• Complete invoices, time sheets, and other paperwork as required.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours as needed. Respond to emergency calls as required, on call rotation.
