Valley Veterinary Emergency & Referral Center is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our outstanding Emergency team on the day shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in a veterinary hospital and a positive attitude, with the ability to work well under pressure and collaborate with the team.

Requirements

• Properly restrain animals
• Obtain a thorough history from pet owner
• Accurately measure and record each patient's weight and basic vitals
• Understand triage and follow hospital policies regarding critical patients
• Assist with routine exam room procedures
• Maintain a positive attitude and work well and collaboratively as a team
