Manufacturing Process Specialist assists, coordinates, and follows up on all production control processes to facilitate manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include reviewing production processes, establishing routings and methods, and implementing continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant experience
- 5 years experience in manufacturing including metal fabrication, machining, weld and assembly
- Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing process equipment involving multi-process metalworking, machining and fabrication operations
- Proficiency in reading blueprints
- Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T dimensioning
- Project Management experience a plus
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience working in a team environment
