Job Description
The Compliance Manager supports the EUI Compliance function in the design, implementation and maintenance of a risk-based compliance framework, providing independent second line oversight, guidance and challenge to the business in relation to compliance risks.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in compliance, 2nd Line risk oversight or regulatory advisory roles, ideally within a financial market infrastructure, large financial services firm or regulatory authority.
- Detailed knowledge of Bank of England, PRA and FCA requirements.
- Extensive technical knowledge of Financial Crime regulatory requirements, including UK, EU and US sanctions regimes, UK Money Laundering Regulations, Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA), AML/ CTF/ CPF regulatory frameworks
- Ability to engage credibly with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates independence of judgement, credibility and the ability to influence, including in challenging situations.
- Ability to work proactively and strategically in a changing regulatory environment.
- Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to support change across Compliance and the wider organisation.
