DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer role at Eurofins Scientific, a global life sciences company, with a focus on cloud-based deployment and modern authentication. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in complex IT environments, IT Services, and their relationships, with expertise in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and automation tools such as Terraform and DSC. The role involves designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters, and collaborating closely with IT teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of proven hands-on experience in complex IT environments, IT Services, and their relationships
• Microsoft Azure and/or Azure (operations and infrastructure) experience
• Good Linux/Windows OS administration and scripting skills (PowerShell, or DSC preferred)
• Deep knowledge and experience with Kubernetes and similar products, e.g. AKS, EKS
• Monitoring and alerting systems experience. E.g. DataDog, Icinga, Nagios
• Experience with Security and Registration Tools
• Identity and access management experience, using Azure AD
• Automation and implementation experience (for e.g.: Terraform, DSC, Ansible, Helm or Azure DevOps)
• Cloud Native Firewall Management experience
• CheckPoint Firewall Management experience
• GitOps practical experience
• Software distribution and software packaging experience
• Solid networking knowledge
• English language skills, at an advanced level
