Technologist I, Upstream Manufacturing - Biologics - Eurofins CDMO Alphora, Inc.

Eurofins CDMO Alphora Inc. is seeking a Technologist I for its Upstream Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will support upstream GMP activities, including hands-on cleanroom work and equipment operation, and will gain exposure to GMP operations, process development, scale-up, and technology transfer. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in upstream processing, mammalian cell physiology, and bioprocess engineering, and will be able to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team. The starting annual base compensation for this position is $65,000 CAD, with a comprehensive total rewards package to be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• BSc in Biotechnology (or similar field)
• Up to one (1) year of relevant industry experience
• Demonstrated experience in upstream bioprocessing
• Experience in SOP drafting and previous involvement in GMP runs
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional team
• Excellent communication, GMP documentation, and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision
