The Analytics team at Euromonitor is seeking a Senior Data Analyst and programmer to improve the Analytics process and code for the internal Forecast Model process and consulting projects. The successful candidate will have solid programming skills in Python or R, cloud computing knowledge, and a genuine interest in data analytics.
Requirements
- Development of new and improvement of existing code for data treatment, mathematical transformations, and statistical computations
- Participation in internal peer review meetings and contribution to the best solution search process
- Draw conclusions based on results
- Monitoring for latest developments in the field to use cutting-edge programming and cloud solutions
- Proper documentation of each project and sharing best practices
- Advanced knowledge of R/Python, SQL, and cloud computing services platforms providers
- Understanding of data flows, migrations, ETLs, pipelines, and process scaling and parallelization
- Ability to automate complex data analysis processes and write production-ready code
- Knowledge in econometrics, statistics, and economics, as well as Docker, Rest API, JSON data format, SPARQL, JavaScript, HTML, and cloud computing services platforms providers
- A genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence and related fields like data science and Machine learning
- M.A. degree in statistics, econometrics, data science, mathematics, economics, or similar field
