Job Description
Join Euronext Clearing's QA team in Athens, part of our new Technology and Support Centre, and contribute to the quality and reliability of enterprise-grade clearing systems. As a QA automation engineer, you will design, develop and maintain end-to-end automated tests integrated with UI layers, APIs and backend databases, collaborating with international teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, software engineering or a related technical field
- Fluent English, both written and spoken (mandatory), Greek preferred
- Experience with Playwright or equivalent automated testing frameworks
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Daily use of Visual Studio Code or comparable IDEs
- Experience working on large-scale automated testing projects
- Ability to quickly read, understand and extend complex existing test codebases
- Experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs
- Good understanding of service-oriented and distributed architectures
- Strong SQL skills, including writing and understanding complex queries, joins, subqueries and data validations
- Solid experience working with relational database systems in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with database analysis and backend data validation
- Familiarity with IBM DB and/or MariaDB is a plus
- Experience or strong interest in large language models, prompt engineering techniques and AI-assisted testing tools
- Knowledge of Python
- Advanced Git skills and experience with structured code reviews
- Optional: familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools for test automation pipelines
- Ability to collaborate effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- High aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting
- Ability to understand and internalise complex business logic
