Expert Product Owner

We are seeking an Expert Product Owner to join our team in Brussels, Belgium. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and refining the product backlog, ensuring short- and long-term priorities are well known, and communicating product vision and requirements to the team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in IT and 16 years of relevant experience, as well as experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps principles.

Requirements

• Develop an in-depth knowledge of the goals, constraints, and desired objectives of the products
• Own, manage, and continuously refine the product backlog
• Ensure short- and long-term priorities are well known, agreed, and committed by the business
• Communicate product vision, requirements, and to the team during backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and other relevant ceremonies
• Interact with and validate requirements with the business unit(s) and other stakeholders
• Ensure alignment between GUI and API capabilities
• Plan and coordinate delivery activities across iterations
• Track progress, ensuring transparency of delivery status, risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and decisions
• Coordinate dependencies with other teams, corporate platforms, services, and external stakeholders
• Support/lead defect triage, prioritization, and follow-up to resolution
• Coordinate business acceptance activities (UAT)
• Contribute to release readiness
• Regular progress reporting and prepare concise status updates and decision material for project governance and senior stakeholders
• Produce and maintain delivery artefacts as required
