As a Patent Examiner at the European Patent Office, you will examine patent applications, analyze new inventions, and make decisions on the grantability of patents. You will work in a diverse and inclusive environment with colleagues from around the world. The job requires a Master's degree in a technical field and excellent knowledge of one of the official languages of the EPO. You will have the opportunity to learn about patent law and acquire new skills, and you will be part of a team that is shaping the future of innovation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in one or more of the mentioned technical fields
• Excellent knowledge (at least C1) of one of our official languages (German, English, or French)
• Understanding of the two other official languages; alternatively, excellent knowledge (at least C1) of the English language
• Experience gained in industry is advantageous in the application process
• Citizenship of an EU member state
