System Engineer

We are seeking a System Engineer to join the Small Satellite Unit at the European Space Agency (ESA). As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the management and technical aspects of small satellite projects, including design, development, and verification of spacecraft systems. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in space engineering or a relevant domain and experience in space projects, including spacecraft system or subsystem design, engineering and verification.

Requirements

• Master's degree in space engineering or a relevant domain
• Experience in space projects, including spacecraft system or subsystem design, engineering and verification
• Knowledge of small spacecraft and technology demonstration projects
• Hands-on experience in design, development and verification of satellite subsystems
• Experience in project phases A/B/C/D
• Understanding of related technologies, R&D trends and industrial landscape
