Lead Mechanical Engineer

As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong engineering team, continuously improving the way we work, and developing and connecting people, processes, and technical quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in machine building or a similar industry
• Proven experience in leading teams or departments
• Strong technical foundation in mechanical engineering and CAD (Inventor)
• Experience with PDM/ERP systems (such as Vault and Ridder IQ) and Jira is a plus
• Knowledge of production processes, assembly, and GD&T
• Experience with CE guidelines and machine safety
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to convince, connect, and provide direction
• Fluent in Dutch and English
