Job Description
The Admissions Coordinator will manage client admissions and discharges, conduct pre-admission screenings, and provide client orientation. They will also maintain statistical data and assist in outreach efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or other human services
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or other human services field (preferred)
- CADC required, LCADC preferred
- 1-5 years' experience in substance use disorder and/or mental health treatment field
- Knowledge of substance use disorder and mental health disorder treatment
- Knowledge of prevention, treatment, and recovery supports services and resources
- Knowledge of the bio-psychosocial model, DSM-5-TR Mental Health Disorders and Diagnosis
- Knowledge of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria
- Understanding confidentiality rules and regulations related to 42 C.F.R. Part 2 and HIPAA
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
