Senior Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

EverCommerce is searching for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the architecture, deployment, and continuous operation of our cloud infrastructure. This position can be based anywhere in the United States. You'll be the go-to expert driving innovative, secure, and optimized solutions.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include cloud architecture & infrastructure, automation & operations, security & access, cost & reliability, and collaboration & documentation.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience designing, operating, and scaling cloud infrastructure, with deep expertise in AWS, and strong hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing, operating, and scaling cloud infrastructure, with deep expertise in AWS
• Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
• Experience designing highly available, secure, and disaster-resilient production systems
• Proficiency with automation and CI/CD pipelines supporting cloud-native workloads
• Solid foundation in networking, IAM, and cloud security fundamentals
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams
• Excellent soft skills including communication, teamwork, building effective relationships and leadership
