Job Description
Kings Valley Charter School is seeking a substitute teacher to provide temporary coverage for absent staff members and teachers. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills and be able to follow sub plans provided by teachers.
Requirements
- Familiarity with responsibilities of classroom teachers and school procedures
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to be awake and alert as early as 5:00 am on all school days
- Passing criminal background check
- State of Oregon Teaching License or Restricted Substitute or Substitute Teaching License
- Current First Aid Card
Benefits
- Salary: $240/day for subs with an unrestricted teaching license
- Salary: $211/day for subs eligible for a restricted substitute license
