EverGreene Architectural Arts is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conservator to execute and oversee the treatment, documentation, and coordination of conservation projects across a wide range of historic materials and sites.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in architectural or fine arts conservation.
- Master's degree in art conservation, historic preservation, or related discipline.
- Professional Associate status with AIC or equivalent
- Demonstrated hands-on conservation skills with strong analytical and material knowledge.
- Proven ability to lead small teams, develop appropriate and sensitive conservation treatments, and exercise sound technical judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in photography, digital documentation, and technical report writing.
- Artistic ability with a keen eye for color, texture, and detail.
- Strong manual dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Ability to work well within a team environment with fellow conservators, technicians, and trades people.
- Comfortable working at heights, on scaffolding, and in varied environmental conditions.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain after hire). Additional safety certifications will be required after hiring.
- Ability to travel to project sites anywhere in the United States.
