Technicien en extinction d'incendie / Fire Suppression Technician

Everguard Fire and Safety is a multi-industry fire and life safety services and solutions company with comprehensive product offerings. We are hiring a Fire Suppression Technician for our Val-d'Or operation, responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire protection equipment and fire suppression systems.

Requirements

• Verifying conditions of suppression system, including validation of installation compliance and component location
• Test, replace and repair system components
• Perform all mechanical and electrical tests required to certify proper system operation
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and operational/product manuals
• Install systems according to manufacturer’s instructions
• Completing daily reports of completed work orders and activities
• Ensuring safe work practices are followed safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job
• Mentoring other team members including trainees and field service labour
• Participating in 24/7 on-call/call out emergency service
