The Field Engineer Gr 3 is responsible for the safe, efficient, and productive performance of engineering work, including coordinating with others and ensuring proper tools and equipment are available.
Requirements
- Engineering education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Science, or Electrical Technology
- Valid driver's license to operate motor vehicles
- Corrective vision, normal color perception, hearing, and sense of smell
- Ability to work in a union represented position
- Interest and aptitude necessary for successful progress in the engineering profession
- Personality traits such as alertness, self-reliance, poise, tact, and ability to maintain harmonious relations with associates
- Competencies such as building trusting relationships, managing and developing people, and leading change
