Network Engineer (Wi-Fi Specialist)

We are looking for a Network Engineer (Wi-Fi) to join our client's IT department, responsible for creating predictive coverage models, conducting radio reconnaissance, troubleshooting, and preparing technical reports.

Requirements

• Wi-Fi knowledge - understanding of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax principles.
• Understanding of RSSI, SNR, Noise Floor, Interference (CCI/ACI) concepts.
• Understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP stack, DHCP, DNS, and VLAN (Trunk/Access) configuration on a switch port.
• Knowledge of power standards (802.3af/at/bt) and cable length limitations.
• Experience working with Ekahau Sidekick or similar Wi-Fi scanners (or a strong desire to learn).
• Understanding of 802.11k/v/r protocols.
