Job Description
The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services, selling pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise. The role also involves lead generation and prospecting through walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of sales experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred)
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
