Job Description
The Sales Counselor sells pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise. They assist families with funeral selections and attend services. The role requires strong sales skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Some additional education preferred in a related area
- 1 year of sales experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
- Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel and Outlook)
- Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred)
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
