Solutions Architect & Evangelist - Media/Broadcast

Solutions Architect & Evangelist job description for Media/Broadcast position. The candidate will work with customers to promote and design enterprise grade Playout, Media Asset Management, and Distribution solutions. Key responsibilities include working with account management, identifying new customers, and creating system requirements and implementation approaches.

Requirements

• Experience in designing, documenting and sustaining full life cycle end-to-end enterprise-wide client facing projects.
• Experience working with file-based broadcast, production, post-production, non-linear distribution, automated transcoding and quality control, business/traffic systems type deployments and workflows.
• Electronics engineering (or similar) education.
• Problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
• Results oriented, self-motivated, and team player.
• Familiar with BXF and industry standard traffic solutions.
• Must have 3 or more years experience deploying file based work flow solutions.
• Experience with Broadcast IT with network infrastructure.
• Understanding in applications integration with business systems via the use of XML as the interchange format.
• Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file types.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
