Fixed Plant Fitter

The Fixed Plant Fitter will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and availability of our processing plant, performing scheduled daily and weekly maintenance on fixed plant equipment and troubleshooting mechanical issues. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, a passion for maintaining reliable plant operations, and a commitment to maintaining safe work practices.

Requirements

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Mechanical Fitting or Fitting & Machining) or Fabrication Trade qualifications
• Experience in fixed plant maintenance within a mining environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to prioritise planned and unplanned work effectively
• A commitment to maintaining safe work practices and following established procedures and standards
• Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across departments
• Ability to work in all areas of the plant and remain flexible to changing work requirements
