Medium Term Planning Engineer

The Medium Term Planning Engineer will be the key liaison between the Technical Services and Mine Operations teams, identifying gaps and addressing them to maintain adherence to plan. The role includes designing pit opti shells, developing drill and blast plans, and managing contractors on site.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or similar
• 5+ years 'Open Pit' production engineering and medium-term planning experience
• Experience in Vulcan, Alastri (APS/ATS), Deswik CAD and Integrated Scheduling
• Good understanding of relevant Australian legislation, mining regulations and operating conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong focus on safety and ability to work to strict deadlines
