Mining Engineer Planning

Reporting to the Superintendent Mining Engineer, the Mining Engineer Planning will design workable, practical mine plans and schedules. You will be responsible for monitoring performance against plan, identifying gaps, and finding smarter ways of working.

Requirements

• Own short-term planning, delivering clear and achievable monthly and quarterly schedules
• Contribute to longer-term planning, including life-of-mine development and budget/forecast schedules
• Monitor performance against plan, identify gaps, and find smarter, more efficient ways of working
• Keep a close eye on costs and ensure designs maximise value without compromising safety
• Identify risks early in the design phase and build in practical controls before they become issues
