As Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you'll manage geotechnical controls across a large-scale mining environment, leading a team of professionals and driving innovation through proactive solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or Civil Engineering (geotechnical focus)
- Professional registration (RPEQ/RPEV) and AusIMM Chartered Professional (CP) status highly regarded
- Minimum 7 years in geotechnical engineering, including at least 2 years in a senior capacity
- Exposure to both open pit and underground environments is advantageous
- Proficiency in geotechnical modelling and CAD software, Rocscience, and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of mine planning, ground control, and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and manage performance objectives
- Self-starter, adaptable, collaborative, and committed to safety and continuous improvement
