Job Description
We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic Residential Counselors to join our Tarzana team at our 6-bed short-term teen residential treatment programs, utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help teens build emotional regulation and coping skills.
Requirements
- Provide one-to-one support and supervision to teens struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues
- Help create a safe, supportive environment where teens can grow and feel seen
- Join clients in experiential activities like hiking, surf therapy, equine therapy, fitness groups, and other fun therapeutic experiences
- Keep accurate documentation of shift activities and client updates
- Support teens in building independence through everyday life skills
