We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Finance Manager to oversee the financial health and strategy of Evolving Web, a digital agency. The role requires strategic thinking and hands-on financial management, ideally suited to a candidate with experience in similar service-based industries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is an asset)
- 5+ years of experience in finance/accounting; experience in a digital agency or professional services firm is highly preferred
- Good knowledge of taxation in Canada and Quebec (an asset if you have knowledge about US)
- Strong skills in Google Sheets or similar software
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Dex) and project management tools (Redmine, Float, Notion etc.)
- Excellent analytical skills and business acumen
- Collaborative mindset
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance requirements
- Familiarity with project-based accounting and revenue recognition
- Bilingualism in English and French (French is a strong asset)
