Lead Machine Learning Engineer

Exadel is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to deliver best-in-industry models for detection of subrogation opportunities using the latest ML advancements and best software engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ML lifecycle, excellent communication skills, and experience in experiment design and model valuation.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of ML lifecycle: development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Hands-on experience in experiment design and model valuation
• Expertise with ML system design, model deployment, and production ML systems
• Experience in engineering production-grade GenAI features with robust validation, sanity checks, and structured outputs to mitigate hallucination and business risk
• Proficiency with AWS stack related to ML (e.g. Sagemaker, Lambda, Stepfunctions, IAM)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and best practices (CICD, Test-Driven Development, Infrastructure as Code)
• Experience translating business objectives into technical roadmaps and deliverables
• Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities and timelines
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
