Job Description
This Machinist position involves operating and setting up manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision metal parts. The role requires knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and metallurgy. The machinist will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, deburring, and storing parts.
Requirements
- Keeping machines and work areas clean
- Topping off oils & coolant tanks
- Change speeds and feeds for optimal use of tools
- Measure and inspect features
- Deburr parts
- Maintain material ID
- Return programming & tools
- Maintaining a shift change log
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
