High Voltage Power - Test Technician

High Voltage Power - Test Technician responsible for testing, troubleshooting and evaluating High Voltage Power Supplies in a production environment. The position requires 5+ years electrical testing experience and a strong understanding of voltage levels and current levels.

Requirements

• Selects, sets up test equipment, and conducts tests required for production testing per work instructions.
• Uses Oscilloscopes and product specific equipment to perform Compliance Testing and burn-in conditioning of high voltage power supplies.
• Troubleshoots product and or equipment issues under the direction of senior level test technician/engineers.
• Tests and evaluates customer returned merchandise.
• Works with engineering to recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• May also help in the generation of failure analysis reports.
• Makes preliminary routine evaluations and advises Engineering of test findings and quality concerns.
• May offer suggestions for changes in test procedures to improve operations.
• Conducts and prepares test data to aid engineering in completing or evaluating product.
