Azure Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking skilled Azure Data Engineers to join our Global IT team. In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining our Data Platforms within the Data & Analytics domain. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver robust, scalable data pipelines and architectures that meet business requirements, while ensuring high quality and alignment with best practices.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics. Implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows from multiple data sources. Create and manage data models for structured and unstructured data in alignment with business requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience as an Azure Data Engineer or Consultant, with strong expertise in data engineering, data architecture, and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proven proficiency with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake.
• Skilled in SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and other relational/NoSQL databases, with solid knowledge of data governance, privacy standards, and security best practices.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code (ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform).
