Job Description
Exiger is seeking a Cloud Data Architect / Administrator to design, evolve, and maintain the data platforms powering their analytics and risk intelligence products. This role focuses on data modeling, governance, and integration across platforms, including architectural design, data infrastructure management, and workflow automation. The role requires collaboration with various teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, warehousing, or administration
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Strong experience with query engines (Trino, Athena, Presto) and metadata catalogs (Polaris or AWS Glue Catalog)
- Experience designing and maintaining data lakes
- Expertise in AWS data services (S3, Glue, IAM, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Secrets Manager)
- Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and ELT/ETL best practices
- Hands-on experience with Python or Java for automation
- Experience with streaming data ingestion (Kafka, Kinesis)
