Job Description
Exowatt is seeking an experienced Site Facilities Manager to lead operations at our new Austin, Texas facility. This is a critical hands-on leadership role responsible for bringing online and managing a 48,000 square foot indoor facility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in facility management, industrial operations, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience managing large facilities (40,000+ sq ft) including warehouse or industrial spaces
- Proven track record of vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget oversight
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interface with leadership, employees, and external partners
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial/warehouse environments
- Fluent in Google Workspace
- Must be based in the Austin, TX area
- Must have reliable transportation
