Job Description
EXP is seeking a skilled CAD Designer to lead design efforts on large-diameter watermain, stormwater, and sanitary sewer projects. This role involves drafting, collaboration with engineers, and maintaining drawing standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently leading CAD design efforts with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
- Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) designation is preferred
- 5–10 years of experience in CAD design for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation
- Strong understanding of municipal design standards and construction practices
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
