Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Designer, Mining to join our team at EXP. As a team member, you will design and draft accurate drawing packages, work closely with our lead engineer and staff designers, and assist in the design of power & lighting layouts, circuiting, and electrical details. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial design and layout environment, instrumentation experience, and a strong understanding of design, engineering codes, and technical standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial design and layout, EPCM environment
- Instrumentation experience required
- Technical college graduate with North American experience in mining and mineral or similar industries
- Design experience, preferably in the consulting industry
- PLC and instrumentation design
- Strong personal commitment to Safety and Quality
- Organized, self-motivated, pro-active, detail-oriented, and have good communication skills
