Requirements
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and reports for structural design projects.
- Design structural framing systems using steel, concrete, and wood elements.
- Perform structural calculations for existing and new structural framing systems.
- Complete facility condition assessments, feasibility studies, and design briefs.
- Conduct site visits to review existing building systems and review progress of construction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and respond to internal/external project inquiries.
Benefits
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed with APEGNB or eligible for registration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering with 8+ years of experience in building design.
- Strong knowledge of National Building Code of Canada, and CSA standards.
- Proficiency in Revit/BIM (AutoCAD experience is an asset).
- Familiarity with specification writing.
- Familiarity with structural design software, such as ETABS, RISA, and S-FRAME.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AI tools is an asset.
