Job Description
At EXP, we're driven to provide innovative solutions for the world's built and natural environments. We're seeking a Senior Structural Engineer/Project Manager to lead the structural design for all project types, including complex bridge designs, and oversee project construction administration.
Requirements
- 10 years progressively responsible relevant experience
- MS in Civil Engineering – Structures track required
- Licensed PE in Wisconsin or ability to obtain
- Bridge Inspection experience, including NHI Course preferred
- Prior experience with complex bridge projects a plus
- Knowledge of bridge analysis, design and detailing as it pertains to WisDOT Bureau of Structures requirements, and local agencies and applicable design codes as appropriate
- Knowledge of structural analysis software including MDX, LARSA, PS Beam (or CON-SPAN), ET Pier/SP Column (or equivalent), AASHTOware, L-Pile/GROUP, PY-WALL (or equivalent) preferred
- Proficient with AutoDesk Civil3D, MS Office software, and/or Bentley’s MicroStation®
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to direct and supervise staff engineers and technicians
- Strong leadership, project management skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to mentor structural engineers
