Android Developer

Experian Consumer Services is seeking a mobile developer with a start-up feel and experienced company work methodology. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of proven experience in Android application development and a deep understanding of the Android framework.

Requirements

• Own end-to-end responsibility on projects of increasing complexity
• Participate in full application lifecycle
• Write clean, correct code incorporating feedback from code reviews
• Leading and/or mentoring other developers
• Exercise good judgment and prioritize tasks
• Collaborate on API contracts and participate in cross-team engineering efforts
• Investigate and Prototype new technologies
• Foresee future changes and lead the feature team
• Participate in cross-team engineering efforts such as improving code review system, build pipeline, monitoring, etc.
• Comfortable working in a team environment following the Agile methodology
• Understands Android UX and works closely with the design team
• Proficient in writing Kotlin code for all new development
• Interest and ability to learn different technology stacks as needed
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
