Manufacturing Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Manufacturing Engineer - Detail Planner to join our proactive and innovative team. Expleo is a global engineering, technology and consulting service provider that partners with leading organisations to guide them through their business transformation, helping them achieve operational excellence and future-proof their businesses.

What You Will Do

Create engineering instructions from design definitions directly linked to the production process, produce department documentation using SAP PP, and implement and control changes to the product.

Requirements

• Ability to apply problem solving techniques to routine situations or situations of moderate complexity under supervision
• Work is within standardised procedures and practices, accuracy of tasks is impactful
• Ability to gather information & data to support build
• Be able to plan and prioritise tasks
• Ability to find and adopt best practice
• Good understanding of how team integrates with other teams in order to achieve objectives
• Needs to work effectively in a team
• Good communication in English (oral & written) & Interpersonal skills
• Recognition of the limits of their own knowledge so that specialist support can be sought
• Sufficient experience to be able to identify all the issues involved in their area of responsibility
• Experience of working with SAP
• Experience of working with PLM systems (Teamcenter)
• Experience of working with stakeholders typically inside the company
